My Heart

There’s a song called Way Maker, and in the lyrics, it says that Jesus is mending hearts. That’s what he did in my life. He does make a way even when things look really dark and hopeless.  In what I call the Holy Scriptures there’s a sentence that says, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it, John 1:5, NIV.

Life felt really dark for me when I was at a crossroads in my life, but as hopeless and overwhelmed as I felt this light pulled me out of the darkness supernaturally. Because of that experience my heart wants to help others walk out of the darkness, despair or desert experience they’re in.  Because the light of God is real, and I want others to bask in the warmth of his love that heals all our wounds and satisfies like nothing else in this world.
